- The small grain sizes C05, C15 and C25 are most often used to decorate pastries, pies, cookies, cabbage and gingerbread. They are also used as an inclusion in chocolate.
- The larger beads, C40 and C45 are generally incorporated into the dough for baking, buns, crackers and waffle applications.
